The chef will prepare two meals per day, either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner. Food and beverages are purchased by the chef and paid for by guests at cost along with a $23 transportation fee. The staff takes Sundays and official Mexican holidays off. The villa provides full service on December 25 and January 1 (unless those dates fall on a Sunday) at no cost to the guests. Gratuities not included.
Double or Triple Villa Rental
For a 14 or 22 bedroom rental, you can book two seven-bedroom villas and/or an eight-bedroom villa. In that case, the chefs and assistant chefs from each villa will team up to do all the food preparation in one kitchen, so everyone can eat together.
If you book two or more villas, you will have at your service 1-3 chefs, 1-3 assistants to the chef, 1-3 housekeepers, 1-3 housemen, and 1-3 laundry ladies.
Housekeeping
The housekeeper cleans the bedrooms and the common interior areas. Towels are changed daily, and bed linens are changed every three days. Personal laundry can be washed for a fee. There is a houseman who cleans the pool, the patios, the beachfront of your villa, and all the exterior areas. The houseman also carries your luggage and takes care of other small chores.
Food
The rental of the villa includes a staff of five. The kitchen services included in the rate are the shopping, preparation, serving and cleaning up of two meals per day, either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner.
Once a day, an hour before the second meal, the chef will provide all the grocery bills to the guests. At that time, the guests give the chef the next days menu and grocery money.
Once a day the chef adds $23 US to the bill for the taxi to transport the groceries from the grocery store and the local markets to the villa. The villa does not profit from food and beverages. You will only pay the grocery store bill, plus the transportation charges.
For groceries, you can expect a bill of approximately $25 per adult per day. The cost of food for children can be less than an adult if they eat less. If a child eats half as much as an adult, the cost will be 50% less.
If you order exotic food such as lobster, giant shrimp, New Zealand lamb or imported US beef, the cost per adult for one of those meals can go up by $7.00 US The $25 US per person is enough for the two chef prepared meals and the ingredience for a third meal like breakfast that guests may want to put together themselves.
Transportation
Airport round-trip shuttle service and local transportation can be arranged by our staff, but they are not included in the rate.
